Trails
People would be accused by a group of girls. They would pertend to be attacked by witches. If you were accused of witchcraft, you would be tried by the superm court. Next, witnesses would come before the grand jury. To avoid punishment, you had to confess that you were a witch (even though you really weren't).If you didn't confess, you would be thrown in jail, be burned, be pressed, or hanged. There were about 19 people put to death. Execution dates:
(July 19, 1692- Sarah Good, Rebecca Nurse, Susannah Martin, Elizabeth How, and Sarah Wildes.)(August 19, 1692- Martha Carrier, John Willard, George Burroughs, George Jacobs, and John Proctor.)(September 22, 1692- Mary Eastey, Martha Corey, Ann Pudeator, Samuel Wardwell, Mary Parker, Alice Parker,Wilmot Redd, and Marget Scott.)

Family Life
The kids in Salem could not play with toys. The little girls had to stay home and cook wash and other things around the house. The boy could go outside and go into the woods but the girls could not. All the kids had to do bible verses instead of playing. The rule was that the how family had to go to church. This little girl was chained up to the wall for months just because people thought she was a witch she was 4 years old.



Religon
the people of of salem town had strict rules about their religon if you didn't go to church you would be punished.
they also belived that the devil was as real as god and that he choose the weakest grownups and kids to do his bidding for him. They also belived in witchcraft and if you did witchcraft you go to jail, be hung, or you had the option to acuse someone of forcing you to do witchcraft and they would set you free of prison if you had all ready been in prison. The biggest part of their religion was sinning if you did a minor sin you would earn yourself in the stock which were very uncomfortable. If you sin was large you would ethier be hung or pressed to death
